Renaissance Albany Hotel

Everything! One of the best hotel stays I've had in the US. Location is central to Albany. Really spacious room, comfortable beds, well-furnished and clean. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. The staff was awesome, so warm and really helpful. I stayed at the hotel to take the bar exam and I really appreciated how encouraging the staff was! I appreciated also that the room offered reusable glasses for drinking water—I'm not a big fan of this cheap and wasteful trend in American hotels where plastic cups are provided to drink water instead of real glasses. Meal service was awesome. I had breakfast at Renaissance (decent), had lunch to-go and ate sit-down dinner there. I was positively shocked by how good the food was—by far the best hotel meals I have ever had. Just straight up really good food, hotel or not! The hotel also had a very clean and quiet gym.

We liked that it was right in the middle of everything in downtown Albany, and the restaurant was nice with a good variety of food.

Nice room upscale feel

Rooms were very large, had a fridge, couch, amazing views. being right by such big monuments was nice and was easy to get in and out of town.

Great spacious room, very clean and well located. the hotel itself is beautiful. the restaurant downstairs is delicious and the cocktail list is very fun.
